Addison Leads Staten Island to Back-to-Back Titles Drana Group baseball client Tyler Addison and his
Staten Island teammates won the 2006 New York Penn League Championship
yesterday in convincing fashion. The Staten Island Yankees finished
the regular season in first place with a record of 45-29, and they
were able to hold off the Tri-City Valley Cats 2 games to 1 for
their second New York Penn League championship in two years. The
New York Penn League has not had a back to back league champion
since 1981. |
