Marlins Sign Paulauskas
Andrew Paulauskas, the first Wisconsin high school
player selected in the 2007 MLB draft, has signed a professional
contract with the Florida Marlins. Paulauskas, a RHP from Kenosha
Tremper High School, Kenosha, Wisconsin, was the Marlins seventh
round draft choice and their first high school pitcher selected
in the entire draft. Paulauskas will begin his career with the GCL
Marlins in the Florida Gulf Coast League.
“Andrew was one of the premier high school pitchers in the
country, and it comes of no surprise to us that an organization
that prides itself on developing top high school pitchers selected
Andrew as their first high school arm”, said Drana Group representative
Stefano Bando.
