Portice Signs with Red Sox
Eammon Portice, the first player drafted from The
Big South Conference in the 2007 MLB Draft, has signed a contract
with the Boston Red Sox. Portice, the Red Sox’s 12th round
selection, will begin his professional career with the Lowell Spinners
in the New York-Penn League.
“We are very excited for Eammon as he begins his professional
career with the Red Sox, and we look forward to watching him throw
in Fenway Park in the years to come”, said Drana Group representative
Stefano Bando. Portice is the first Drana Group Baseball client
to sign in the 2007 MLB draft.
