Stroup Signs Record Bonus with Boston

Drana Group baseball client Kyle Stroup has signed a seven year contract with the Boston Red Sox. Stroup was "Mr. Irrelevant" in the 2008 MLB draft as he was the last player selected.

"Kyle’s contract compensates him as if he went in the first five rounds, not bad for a guy taken in the 50th round with pick number 1504 overall", said Drana Group representative Stefano Bando.

Stroup’s deal is believed to be a record signing bonus for the last player ever selected in the MLB amateur draft.
